while urinating on my own foot this morning, with a sleeping toddler on my shoulder I realised I have
learned not to let the little things in life bother me. Parenting has it's rewards.

Images festival is coming up. I love that festival. i rarely see as much as I would like but it is one that
definitely champions the avant garde. Tonight is the party, launch or something.

Tommorrow is Rob Greenway's Brilliant Fish gig at the Riv. Sounds great. hope to make it.

All that will stop me now is time and money...hahaha.

Perhaps I will skip the book writing idea and read some more parenting books myself. Once again, I am home
with grumpy kids and missing both events I planned to attend. I love em but man....its not easy.

I am having great fun going through the rough mixes of Horn Band with Howard Johnson. It is really
exciting to me how different a record it is from what my expectations were. (did I fail as a producer^)

I think not. The part I overlooked however was the individual strenghts and unique character that each
horn player; Howard, Lina and Quinsin brought to the session.

I was quite wrapped up in the compositional element and forgot all about vibe! Kind of silly, I admit.

yet a pleasant suprise non the less.

I hope to have it all mixed by mid May and start sending it out to a few labels that I am interested in.

Sure, Guildwood Records is probably the best home for it but I like to keep trying new things. You know...
see what happens!!
